Old city maps have a way of making urban history feel immediate, and this Allahabad map does exactly that. Dated 1908, it captures the city now known as Prayagraj in fine antique detail, with all the ordered streets, boundaries and quiet authority that make vintage cartography so appealing. It is a wonderful piece for anyone with ties to the city, a love of Indian history, or a taste for decorative antique maps that feel both personal and beautifully scholarly.
This is an edited reproduction made from antique/public domain source imagery.
Print quality
Printed on beautifully textured 300gsm cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks, this vintage Allahabad map print has a rich, gallery-quality finish designed to bring out every fine line, aged tone and intricate cartographic detail.
