There’s something irresistibly old-world about owls in early natural history art — wise, watchful, and slightly mysterious, as if they belong to folklore as much as the forest. This 1650 owls print has that classic antique charm: careful observation, characterful silhouettes, and a “cabinet of curiosities” feel that suits a study, library wall, hallway, or a cosy reading corner.
This is an edited reproduction made from antique/public domain source imagery.
Print quality
Printed on 300gsm fine art cotton rag paper using archival pigment-based inks for superb quality and longevity.
