The death’s-head hawkmoth has that perfect Victorian mix of beauty and eerie symbolism — intricate wings, bold patterning, and the famous skull-like marking that made it a true “cabinet of curiosities” icon (and a memorable detail in Silence of the Lambs). This 1896 moth and caterpillar print is dramatic, detailed, and effortlessly gothic, ideal for a gallery wall, study, hallway, or anyone who loves vintage entomology and antique natural history art.
This is an edited reproduction made from antique/public domain source imagery.

Printed on 300gsm fine art cotton rag paper using archival pigment-based inks for superb quality and longevity.
