Long before alphabetic books became the norm, Mexico’s history and mythology were recorded in vivid pictorial form — symbols, figures and story-scenes designed to be read as much as admired. This Mexican pictorial writing print has that striking codex-like feel, blending art and communication in a way that still looks modern. A brilliant piece for a study, library wall, or anyone drawn to vintage history, anthropology and antique illustration.
This is an edited reproduction made from antique/public domain source imagery.
Print quality
Printed on 300gsm fine art cotton rag paper using archival pigment-based inks for superb quality and longevity.
