Few places carry the weight of history quite like the Roman Forum. This antique map print captures the heart of ancient Rome as both archaeological site and living memory, with the Forum Romanum laid out in the measured detail of a vintage historical plate. Full of classical character and old-world scholarship, it is a striking choice for lovers of Roman history, ancient architecture and antique map decor, bringing depth and conversation to a study, library, hallway or office.
This is an edited reproduction made from antique/public domain source imagery.
Print quality
Printed on beautifully textured 300gsm cotton rag paper using archival pigment inks, this reproduction has a crisp, characterful finish that suits antique cartography and historical illustration especially well. The heavyweight fine art paper gives the image depth and presence, while the archival inks help preserve its subtle tones and fine printed detail.
